About the presenter:

Merrick Jakelski is an Energy Advisor for the TVA EnergyRight Business & Industry incentive program. EnergyRight focuses on engaging Trade Allies to help commercial and industrial customers throughout the valley become more sustainable by subsidizing energy-efficient facility upgrades. Before joining the program, Merrick earned his B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering Technology from Purdue University and has worked as a Project Engineer for both Polaris Motorsports and Greenworks Tools, developing a variety of EV platforms. He now spends his free time teaching and advocating for self-sufficient energy and permaculture systems through his sustainable farmstead in Bulls Gap, TN.
